Please change the laws and time limits for animals in shelters. ....Because 3-4 days is too short a time for animals to get evaluated and adopted or for lost pets to be reunited with their owners. Too many family's are suffering heartbreak when their lost or stolen pets are ending up put to sleep in shelters. Also, do away with fees for those claiming their lost pets (with proof of ownership). Animals in shelters should have at least 6 months before being labelled unadoptable. Foster homes should receive tax breaks and discounts as well. Please vote and increase funds for more NO KILL shelters. Animals are living beings and shoud not suffer for our mistakes.
