Enough of the terror of pets during the week before, during, and after the 4th of July. July 5th is the day more animals are taken into the local shelter than any other day, pitiful lost and terrified pets, injured pets. And so many dead pets who ran in terror and were hit by cars. 

Enough of loud fireworks that trigger vets with PTSD.

Enough of sleepless nights and bleary-eyed mornings.

We want peace in our homes and our neighborhoods.

Manufacturers make silent fireworks. We ask that only silent fireworks be allowed for private use within the city limits of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and that other fireworks be contained in public viewing displays that have permits.
