On August 25, 2020 the Bountiful City Council voted to cage, shoot and kill 100 urban deer. Many of the effected citizens were not notified about this proposal,  surveyed or given an opportunity to comment. The citizens that attended the City Council meeting via in person or zoom were not allowed to voice their opinions prior to the vote. We would like the Mayor to veto or suspend this vote until citizens of Bountiful have a chance to review any compelling reasons why 100 urban deer need to be caged and killed. Citizens would also like to examine other alternatives to urban deer management.
