Michelle Wilkins, a young woman, replied to a craigslist ad for baby clothes, presumably for the child she was carrying. Michelle was nearly 8 months pregnant.

This MONSTER, Dynel Lane, stabbed Michelle, and carved the baby out of her womb, leaving Michelle to die in her basement. Michelle, God bless her, is, according to the article I read, alive. She managed to call 911, and is recovering in the hospital. 

Dynel Lane's husband came home, and his wife informed him she had a miscarriage, and that the baby was in the bathtub. When he checked on the baby, he found it ALIVE and trying to breathe. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FACT OF THE CASE.

Taking the baby and his wife to the hospital, the baby, tragically, died. His wife insisted on the miscarriage story, but refused to be examined, and finally admitted to her crime, at which point she was arrested.

That same article states that Colorado has, THREE TIMES, voted down personhood laws for fetuses. To quote the same news article again: 'Legislature voted down a bill in 2013, and 65 percent of voters rejected a ballot measure last year that would have granted legal rights to unborn fetuses, the third rejection of a "personhood measure."'

Well, I reject that! The BABY (and I would wager my very soul if you asked Michelle Wilkins what it was, she would say it was her baby, NOT her fetus!) was alive, outside the body! It was found alive by the murderer's husband, and died in the hospital. That is NOT an "unborn fetus," it is a child. Most people know someone who was born premature, or know of someone who was, and therefor know that, so long as the infants health is good, it can survive in an incubator. This is hardly new technology, my own father, born in 1960, was premature, born closer to the 6 month mark, and survived.

Another article, http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_27744578/longmont-911-tape-shows-woman-pleading-help-after, says that "it's unclear how long the fetus would have to live outside the womb to be considered a child," and "if Lane is not charged with murder in the baby's death, she could face a charge related to the unwanted termination of a pregnancy."

The purpose of this petition is to REMOVE that "if". This child would be alive, safely within its mother, if not for this beast. The mother would have given birth in about a months time, to the newest member of her family. That was stolen from her. The life of her baby was stolen from her. This is, in my view, murder. And the fact that she made a craigslist ad just to attract a pregnant woman to her home, with the INTENT to kill that woman, and cut the baby from her body means that this woman is an inhuman danger to society.

I petition the Boulder County Distract Attorney to charge this woman with MURDER in the death of this child.

I am from Buffalo, New York. I do not know ANYONE involved in this case. I am writing this petition because I read a news article. I wrote this because I am a human being, who is absolutely shocked, horrified, and disgusted by what happened to Michelle Wilkins, and my heart goes out to her, her family, and her friends. I want justice for the pain and suffering that was inflicted on her, and for the brutal death of her innocent child.
