RHINOS IN AFRICA
Mar 9, 2019

Botswana officials should be encouraged to be informed by scientists and economists that are not affiliated to hunting organisations.

Read the scienctific study below. This is a basic summary of important facts:

1. There is a rapid decline in trophy hunting in Africa over the past few years.

2. Trophy hunting does not protect the natural habitat from ecological loss or from poaching.

3. Trophy hunting only benefits a small percentage of people directly involved  and an even smaller percentage benefits conservation.

4. Trophy hunting does not provide sufficient socio-economic benefits to local communities.
