According to media sources in Botswana Dr Mike Chase, founder of Elephants Without Borders, has had his elephant research permit revoked by Thato Raphaka, the Permandnt Secretary in Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism. 

GMFER would like to publicly state our disappointment at this decision. This is not in the best interests of science, of Africa, of her people or her wildlife.
