To the Government and Parliament of the State of Israel,
We the undersigned, consisting of politically engaged Kurds, friends of Israel and supporters of a new map for the region, would like to draw your attention to the common interest you have with the Kurdish nation.

As you know, we Kurds like the Jews and the people of Israel, have constantly been subjected to occupation, persecution and genocide just because we demanded to have our freedom like everyone else in the world.

Earlier in the past, the Kurds were divided and strong only locally while the occupying powers of Kurdistan were strong with ties to the US and the West, but that is NOT the case now.

Today, the Kurds are more united than ever while Iran, Syria and Iraq are weak with civil wars, economic problems and religious fanatics in power who are always enemies of Israel and threats to the Jewish people.

The relationship between the State of Israel and the Kurdish people is one of mutual benefit and shared values. As a nation that understands the complexities of living in a challenging geopolitical region, Israel stands uniquely positioned to forge a longstanding partnership with the Kurds. By extending its support to the Kurdish population, Israel not only advances its security interests but also reinforces its commitment to democratic values and regional stability.

There is ample evidence to support this cause. The Kurdish fighters, particularly the Peshmerga, have been instrumental in the fight against ISIS. Their commitment and sacrifice in combatting extremism have not only protected their homeland but have also contributed to global security. By acknowledging and supporting such efforts, Israel reinforces its stance as a nation that values freedom and peace.

We urge the Israeli government to openly protect and fully cooperate with the Kurdish people, recognizing their strategic importance and their shared values with Israel. This is not just a matter of security policy but of ethical responsibility. Stand with the Kurdish people and join hands for a more stable and peaceful Middle East.

Additionally, the Kurds share a unique position geographically. They inhabit regions crucial for monitoring activities of nations that may pose threats to Israel. By fostering a strategic alliance with the Kurds, Israel gains crucial intelligence and operational advantages, enhancing its defence capabilities.

Both today and forever, the Kurds and Israel need reliable friends and allies. Thus, a formalized and well-established cooperation and alliance between the Kurds and Israel is the best investment in Israel's security.
