As you are probably aware the Council has now decided to restore and keep the rocket for future generations, which is a wonderful thing. The carousel will remain too - many people said they were fond of it.

Boroondara Council has worked constructively to preserve the rocket.

The rocket will now be removed for a couple of months as of next week to undergo restoration and be placed in exactly the same spot.
