Dear friends,

We have a really important update. Our campaign is working, and it is down to you.

Because of you, the Government has not only implemented 8 out of 10 of the Covid Inquiry’s module 1 recommendations, but put into action many of CBFFJ's own recommendations, which go further than the Inquiry’s, and are drawn from our lived experience and are crucial to saving lives in the future.

After the devastation we faced, each of us made a choice. We stood up and said: never again. And together, we’ve turned that grief into a fight for justice that has already changed the future.

We know that the evidence we are gathering and the pressure we are building is working, but we also know the Government won’t act without being forced to. Only 1 of the Inquiry’s 10 modules has reported back so far, and as the media and politicians move on it is down to us to fight harder than ever before for Government action.

We can’t have the impact we do without your support. Next year the Inquiry will be making its recommendations on political decision making across all countries in the UK, the health service, the care sector, vaccines, Test Trace and Isolate, procurement and more. The Government will only act if we keep these life saving findings high on the political agenda, sharing our members' experiences and demands in the media, in parliament, and with policy makers.

We know it's working, and we can’t stop now. Donate here to keep holding the Government to account: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/help-hold-the-government-to-account

There are lives we have saved already and that is something we should all hold on to. Thank you for being part of this movement.
