Hi supporter,

Today - on day 6 of Richard’s hunger strike - our team went with him to hand his petition in to No.10 Downing Street.

We went to No.10 with a small group of Richard’s close family. Gabriella, Nazanin’s seven year old daughter, proudly handed over the petition box containing 3.6 million signatures of people who want her mother to be free. 

Although Richard and his family are outwardly upbeat, the last few days have been challenging.

Yesterday Richard was invited into another meeting with Liz Truss at the Foreign Office. He came out disappointed. The Foreign Secretary failed to convince him that securing Nazanin’s immediate release was a priority. As a result Richard will continue his hunger strike.

Now is when he needs your support the most.
