The PM recieved a grilling in the House of Commons on Monday, with Theresa May putting to Johnson: "they (the public) had a right to expect their Prime Minister to have read the rules, to understand the meaning of the rules and indeed those around him to have done so too and to set an example in following those rules. What the Gray report does show is that Number 10 Downing Street was not observing the regulations they had imposed on members of the public, so either my right honorable friend had not read the rules or didn’t understand what they meant and others around him, or they didn’t think the rules applied to Number 10. Which was it?”
Also at the debate, Caroline Lucas said: "the Prime Minister is certainly a bad apple, but the whole tree is rotten and the whole country wants reform."
And Ian Blackford has claimed he received 12,000 emails of support from members of the public after he branded Boris Johnson a liar at Monday's debate
And today, ex-minister Tobias Ellwood said he has submitted a letter of no confidence in the PM. Ellwaood is joined by backbenchers Anthony Mangnall and Sir Gary Streeter in calling for a vote on his future.
Also, Labour leader, Keir Starmer says ‘it’s time to restore dignity’ as PM refuses to apologise for the Jimmy Savile remarks made during Monday's debate.
