We don’t consent to mandatory face masks. Please allow people to make their own choice.

• Face masks should not be mandatory on public transport. This should be OUR choice.
•This makes way for more problems. People who depend on lip reading to communicate will not be able to cope. Children rely on the facial expressions of adults to fully develop.
• We understand that people who have breathing difficulties may not wear one, but this could mean that they are verbally attacked or discriminated against for not wearing one. People with breathing difficulties might not have the social skills or confidence to explain themselves in front of strangers as to why they are not wearing one.
• We ask that you change this. Too many restrictions and measures have been imposed on us and this is a step too far. People are at breaking point.
•Will drivers and taxi drivers not let us on board if we can’t wear one? There are too many implications of this and will cause more problems than it’s trying to prevent.
Please consider this.
