The scale and scope of Gavin Williamson’s abject failings as Secretary of State including persistently slow responses and muddled decision-making jeopardising the education of millions of children and young adults and the safety of everyone working in schools, has resulted in a total breakdown in trust between him, teachers, school and college leaders and parents.  He has lost all credibility.  This is not acceptable and places children and education staff at risk and threatens the stability of the entire system.  He must be forced to resign.
