The UK shipped 7,133 metric tons of waste, about two thirds of its total, to other countries including Malaysia, Pakistan, Vietnam, Indonesia and Turkey in September 2020.

Many of these nations do not have the processes to deal with it and ends up burning it causing widespread polluted air and damage to human health and unborn babies.

Either that or it goes into landfill, into river systems inevitably ending on beaches or in the ocean, which by current projections will weigh my than fish by 2050.
