In the UK the most important wildlife have plummeted by an average of 60% since 1970! It is estimated that about 80,000 foxes are shot each year; roughly half by gamekeepers. This needs to stop and foxes should have a safe haven for them to live as well as other UK animals. We want specifically animal friendly forests where animals can live and strive without human destruction. We want these spots across the UK for animals to live naturally without humans putting these habitats in danger so they can live and thrive. The majority of wildlife parks in the UK are for exotic animals such as lions and giraffes ect.. We don't have a safe place for the UK's natural wildlife so they can create and live in there own habitat. This would reduce the amount of foxes and other animals straying into the city's as they have a place that is self-sustaining rich of food and a natural environment for them to live. Yes we do have animal nature reserves but these have a lot of foot traffic and people do litter in these areas what can harm the wildlife there, yes this is a start but this is not enough! We also want it to be illegal for foxes and other predator's to be hunted for crossing over on to someone's land such as farmers, we want there to be measure put in place that there has to be humane capture and release, not the murder of these indecent animals just trying the survive.
