This petition is mainly based on the well being of our animals, a long with the dangers members of the public can face when fireworks are involved. The benefit of stopping the use of fireworks, except on global celebrations and events, is it would leave less animals traumatised and possibly decrease the rate of abuse, with both animals and fireworks.

Obviously many people love fireworks which is why we’re asking for specific days where fireworks are allowed (I.e. bonfire night, festive holidays, etc). 

A large amount of the public tend to view this as “not a big deal”, however there have been over 47 reports of animals being injured and many passing away from heart attacks, due to either the stress that fireworks cause, or being involved in a literal fireworks incident.

we believe that by signing this petition, we can build a safer environment for our animals, and give them the love and care they deserve.
