Chlorinated chicken is extremely toxic and should be banned worldwide. People chlorinate chicken so that they don't have to care for them, but not only is it really harmful, it's animal abuse. Since they chlorinate the chicken, they don't look after them while they're still alive. It would be much healthier to just look after the chicken and they'll at least have lived a much better life.

If England accepts it, then we'll start doing it too, then eventually we'll die of chlorine poisoning and the excess chlorine goes into the air to add to pollution. When chlorine is consumed it kills your good bacteria and could cause cancer. Chlorine also reacts with water, so if you swallow it, it could create hydrochloric acid inside you. Chlorine is meant to be used in cleaning products, not chicken.

When a company is able to chlorinate the chicken and decides to do so, they are factory farmed. Factory farming is when they put the animals in a tiny container until they're taken to the slaughter. This causes many diseases to be spread within the block, such as salmonella. 

I care about this because I live in England and do not agree with animal abuse nor consuming poisons. Because of Brexit, Boris Johnson will start accepting the chlorinated chicken in Britain. This will most likely start in April. Sign the petition and maybe, if enough people agree with me, this will not take place.
