Helped by this petition and our Conversation article (attached), we have been able to initiate a valuable and on-going e-mail exchange with Amanda Solloway, the science minister and have put our case to her directly. Long-term, science offers us a way out of many of our present difficulties and we must make sure it’s not forgotten.
