Barnet are officially hearing our petition on 28th July (next Tuesday)
Hendon Town Hall in the boroughs
NW4 4BQ on Tuesday 28th July 2015
Starting from 6:00pm.
It is the largest petition handed to them in the history of existence of the council.
Barnet council Plc are planning to push through their Draft Housing Strategy policy which can have devastating consequences for all council, housing association and private tenants.
The West Hendon Estate is home to all three categories and Jasmin Parsons will be making clear how Barnet council’s Draft Housing Strategy policy will have an effect on all the low income households and the Hell that residents have already suffered as a direct result of Barnet council’s Regeneration Projects taking homes away from the low income households and leaving permanently insecure and homeless.
The residents of Sweets Way will also be explaining the devastating effects that the mass evictions have had on their community.
The needless and very costly to the rate payer destruction of perfectly decent homes to allow multimillion pound company has put children’s Health Safety & Welfare directly at risk, Barnet council have also deliberately and knowingly deprived these same children their right to a full and uninterrupted education.
The stressful consequences for all the families has had devastating and disproportional long lasting effects on their independent way of life.
Please come and support us next Tuesday from 6pm, the hearing, petition will be heard at 7.45.
