Priti Patel remaining in government is a travesty, after an independent enquiry showed that she was guilty of bullying. That it was "unintentional" is no defence. Bullies often have no idea of the impact they have on others' lives - because they ignore the signs, and ultimately, don't care. It has also become evident that she was informed her behaviour was unacceptable and continued. As a person who has been bullied I know both the impact and that she is unlikely to change, especially having heard her statement which was not a self reflective apology, but a justification. 

This is behaviour that would be unacceptable in the private sector, and government should be an exemplar. Priti should resign or be removed from office.
