This is an international petition calling on the UK Government to lift the ban on entering the UK impose on African American film producer, author and social commentator, Tariq Nasheed by the Home Sec Rt. Hon. Priti Patel MP.

We also have a petition for UK citizens that requires 10,000 signatures to secure a debate in Parliament however only British citizens can sign. This Change.Org provides for a platform for the UK and international support. 

We call on British PM Boris Johnson to remove this ban on African American Tariq Nasheed from entering the UK.

On the August 2nd, 2019 celebrated Black film producer Tariq Nasheed was denied entry to the UK, He was refused entry on the grounds that his presence is "not conducive to the public good."

This decision was taken by the new Home Sec Priti Patel MP. We believe this to be a wholly irrational decision, particularly in the context of having the arch racist and white supremacist President Donald Trump recently hosted by the Queen.
