After what happened to us 10 years ago when abusive carers manipulated facilitated communication of my mute Autistic (and Dup7q 11.23 syndrome) daughter (see Justice For Carina Abused in 2010 by Carers still working ) I have been trying to get some action taken against them and a BAN FROM WORKING WITH VULNERABLE PEOPLE EVER AGAiN !
After trying to get action against the Social Workers involved, they all disappeared to other counties where they are free to do it all again and the Care Council ignored all evidence provided by us - their remit only allows evidence from those they are investigating which makes a total mockery of their existence and a waste of public money !
Care Inspectorate Wales did exactly the same despite a whistleblower providing yet more evidence and treated them despicably!
The Chief Constable refused to do anything, aided and abetted by CPS although written admissions from my daughters Human Rights Abuse case, which she won, state that they used first witness (the carer) as communicator for her and the IOPC found failings which made them subject to management action (re-training)
The Crime Commissioner also refused to do anything and is yet another waste of public money !
The Doctor Rowan Wilson was reprimanded by the GMC for Serious Misconduct but still keeps his job !.
Carmarthenshire County Council admitted in writing that no-one could communicate with my daughter but they still sit on Safeguarding Boards and do nothing refusing to do AN INDEPENDENT SAFEGUARDING INVESTIGATION!
On gong through paperwork recently we found a referral to the DBS for these carers from the then Director of Social Services together with a letter from their Legal Dept. It appears however that DBS operate like a Secret Service and will not reveal why no action was taken against these carers nor inform a member of the public of a carer who is a danger to anyone, only to an employer or Local Authority and the Flow Chart states that if they investigate and are happy with their outcome, they can just forget it and let the perpetrators still work.
So to Sum Up
ANYONE CAN DO WHATEVER THEY LIKE - SAFEGUARDING ONLY EXISTS FOR ORGANISATIONS TO SAFEGUARD THEMSELVES!
NO PROTECTION FOR THE PUBLIC WHATSOEVER !

So when things go wrong they can all do a training course and that makes everything all right !
and Lord Phillips gave immunity to Doctors and Social Workers against prosecution in civil cases of false allegations of Abuse !
SO BEWARE THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU AND IS A TRAVESTY OF OUR HUMAN RIGHTS!
