Make for profit sales during Covid-19 an arrestable offense.

The Issue

People are bulk buying they then sell items for profit.

This is dangerous for anyone unable to purchase items.

For example many people in other countries have bulk bought hand sanitiser and or toilet roll with the sole aim to sell on for profit.

For those on low income it restricts their ability to get ahold of products or limits the quantity needed to get through the current crisis.

If people are personally selling they should have to prove they are 'self employed' additionally showing business tax payments and have to price match to a supermarket.

If a person cannot match a current price of a product then it should be an arrestable offense.

For myself I am on Universal credit and work in retail part time. Additionally I have asthma while I am happy to work I have no access to hand sanitiser or additional tissues to 'catch it & kill it'.

Stop for profit sales.
