One of the paradoxes of the Withdrawal Agreement is that Britons in the EU have lost the right to stand and vote in local elections whereas EU citizens in the UK can still do so.
It is a good example of the asymmetric nature of the Withdrawal Agreement despite the claim that it was based on the idea of reciprocity.
We are working to defend the voting rights of EU citizens in the UK and also for full guarantees for the right of Britons in Europe.
Can you help us campaign for the rights of citizens?

The #DeniedMyVote scandal has revealed so many defects in the way our democracy works in Britain that it is easy to lose sight of shortcomings in the EU as well.
In the third in our series of talks on identity, citizenship and democracy, Dr Ruvi Ziegler, Chair of New Europeans UK, looks at what needs to change.
His talk will focus not just in the UK but also on what the EU needs to do in order to build a truly inclusive democracy for the 21st century.
As we will hear, there is much to be learned form the #DeniedMyVote scandals of 2014 and 2019.
Can you chip in to support our #DeniedMyVote campaign?
