As we get closer and closer to the US elections, the issue of voter suppression is coming to the fore again.
It is a stark reminder of the despicable way 1.7m EU citizens and Britons abroad were denied their vote by the UK government last June.
We hope you enjoy this clip of Bill Maher, but as always with that show there is a serious point and it is a universal one:
"You can disagree with my politics but you can't steal my vote."
That's called cheating.
Procedures for EU citizens at last year's elections were so obscure as to really require almost a "magic trick" to be able to vote.
Postal ballots were sent out so late that it was impossible for many Britons abroad to return them in time for their votes to be counted.
That is classic voter suppression.
It did not go unnoticed but as yet it has gone unpunished.
What makes it even more painful is that we called out the threat of voter suppression before the election last June but still nothing was done.
The US presidential election is a worldwide event and an invitation for us all to reflect on the value of our vote and the quality of our democracy.
Don't let voter suppressers get away with it.
Help us call the UK government to account for its responsibility for the mass disenfranchisement of EU citizens and Britons in Europe in 2019.
Please continue to chip in to our crowd-funder so that we can continue to campaign for a public inquiry into #DeniedMyVote.
