Europe Day belongs not just to the EU but to all who believe in a Europe of democracy, equal rights, freedom and solidarity.
That's why we are calling on supporters to mark this year's Europe Day by joining New Europeans or any other pro-European organisation!
The UK must remain within the family of nations that is the Council of Europe and signed the European Convention on Human Rights.
The rights of EU27 citizens in the UK to stand and vote in local elections in the future must not be denied.
An understanding needs to grow that Europe is not just a community of interest but also a community of values.
That is why it's vital we continue to build Europe from below.
We must also continue to hold the UK government to account for the 2019 #DeniedMyVote scandal so that it never happens again.
For all these reasons, we ask you to keep contributing to our campaign appeal and to join us on 9 May for our Europe Day event.
