New Europeans' Green Card for Europe proposal is coming into its own in this time of coronavirus.

That is because it is more important than ever for EU citizens living in the UK to have a physical proof of status. 

Britons in Europe also need proof of their entitlement to services, including healthcare anywhere in Europe.

The EU needs to urgently introduce a Green Card for #the5million.

A Green Card could also be a great way to guarantee the rights of EU citizens in the UK to stand and vote in local elections.

To discuss the Green Card and other ideas, New Europeans and 15 NGOs have organised an online conference on 9 May, Europe Day.
