The rise of dog thefts in the UK is tremendous. Not a day goes by when dogs aren't stolen from homes, gardens, secure kennels or even out walking with owners. Where are all.of these dogs going?

Dog theft is not classed as a crime per se, the law needs to be changed to make it a law with punishable consequences.  The police need power to prosecute the perpetrators of these thefts. The heartache clearly seen on posts on social media is heartbreaking.

Please let's lobby the Prime Minister, Basc, NGO and similar for a law to be passed.

Dog theft is far reaching, heartbreaking, dogs have been found with microchips removed, in very bad condition.

This needs to stop, a deterrent such as a fine or possible imprisonment maybe just what is needed. Dogs are part of families and should not be classed as non important.
