It's to late for my mom's dog as he was destroyed due to current laws and legislations. Prince was a beautiful beautiful 18 month old Dog de borbordeaux Cross bull mastiff, he's been in our family since he was 3 and a half weeks and has never spent a night away from my mom, he is the biggest gentlest bear ever. 7 weeks ago my mom's carer came home intoxicated at 1am with her friend whom is a stranger to the dogs. My mom's other baby had not long had puppies, without my mom's knowledge the carer had let the mom dog out of the locked bedroom and outside for a wee whilst her and her friend proceeded to mess with the puppies. When mom dog came back in she could hear her babies and upon passing the stranger, this stranger started to scream and fell down the stairs, it was only then that mom dog attacked this girl as she thought her babies were hurt, as my mom has tried to get mom dog off this girl Prince has started to attack the girl as he was protecting my mom. Both dogs and puppies were taken away by the police.

 During the time prince was in kennels my mom wasn't allowed to visit, he was assessed in a unfamiliar setting and was scared of anyone that went near him and classed as dangerous and unsociable. He was destroyed yesterday, How is this fair or justified? Things need to be changed in these laws to give dogs a fighting chance, maybe this might change another family from heartbreak.

Luna mom dog is still in kennels and it's undecided if she will be rehabilitated or destroyed that's down the the judges decision but my mom is not allowed her back. Again how is this fair or justified, she's been ripped away from her family just for protecting my mom and her babies. 

 I'm asking, no I'm pleading that certain situations be looked at differently i.e the characters/ personality of dogs before incidents be taken into consideration, letting families visit, give families chance to taken to dog training, being assessed in their own loving environment surrounded by people who they love, take into consideration the circumstances of why dogs attack when it's not their normal character, Maybe if these were allowed and taken into account alot of families wouldnt have to suffer the heartbreak we are.

Hopefully this will stop unfair justice and allow owners to be reunited with their fur babies
