Hi all, I have today heard that following the teatox petition, Holland and Barrett have been in discussion with Bootea and as a result of that, they have decided to: 1) Start stocking the senna-free version of the Bootea teatox in their stores (although this will be alongside the original version) 2) Change the packaging on the original Bootea teatox boxes to include clear warnings about the dangers and suitability for use. This is already in some stores, but will be rolled out nationwide within 6-8 weeks. New labelling will include that the teatox should not be used by people under 18yrs, can reduce the effectiveness of the oral contraceptive, should not be used by anyone with bowel disease/complaints or during pregnancy/breastfeeding. It will make it clear that there is a laxative in it and therefore it should not be used without a break of 14 days between teatoxes. 3) New product advice will be added to their shelves in store and staff will be given guidance on how the product should be used, so they can advise customers accordingly. While we know that the labelling changes will become permanent nationwide in 6-8 weeks, I am currently awaiting confirmation of a date for when the senna-free product will appear in all stores. This is a great outcome and has been a direct result of the involvement of all of you! Thank you so much for your support and helping to raise safety standards within the diet industry. Best, Lauretta
