Boone Boundary Adjustment

Boone Boundary Adjustment
The Issue
Highland Park Independent School District and the City of University Park have initiated a boundary adjustment that includes the campus of Boone Elementary from the City of Dallas to the City of University Park. Currently at least 94 of the 300 families at Boone Elementary reside in the City of Dallas. By signing this petition, as a City of Dallas resident and Boone family, I show support of the boundary adjustment for Boone Elementary.
There is no negative cost consideration for the City of Dallas. By implementing the boundary adjustment, the City of University Park will fund needed street and drainage improvements in the area. The coordination of school crossing guards will also be handled by the City of University Park. As such, I ask that you help champion this initiative.
Again - By signing this petition, as a City of Dallas resident and Boone family, I show support of the boundary adjustment for Boone Elementary.
