BOOKS DELAYED, FUTURES BETRAYED
The Issue
We, the students of Class 9, are deeply frustrated and burdened by the delayed release of our NCERT textbooks. With examinations approaching, receiving books barely a month before exams leaves us with insufficient time to understand concepts, complete the syllabus, practise questions, and revise properly. Schools have already been covering the syllabus, and we are expected to perform well in examinations despite having limited access to the required textbooks. This situation is causing unnecessary stress, anxiety, exhaustion, and fear of falling behind. We believe students should not have to suffer academically because of delays beyond their control. Education should be about learning and understanding, not rushing through chapters under extreme pressure. We sincerely urge NCERT to acknowledge our difficulties and take immediate action to ensure the timely availability of textbooks so that every student receives a fair opportunity to prepare and perform to the best of their abilities.
