People of Little Lever and Bolton We need your help !!
Before a decision was made to apply for planning permission on the land at the top of Hall Lane for another new housing development to be built I had already applied to register the land as a town or village green under the commons act 2006 section 15 (1) to try and protect it from developers.
The application has now been accepted in the first stage in that Bolton Council will investigate however I need as many people as possible to sign and comment on how long they have used this land to support this to get this approved.
We have to prove a significant number of people have used this land for 20 years or more
All you need to do is comment;
1. You support the application
2. You are one of a significant number of the inhabitants of the locality or neighbourhood within the locality that has indulged as of right in lawful sports and pastimes on the land for a period of at least 20 years
3. That you have continued to do so at the time of the application.
If the Registration Authority is satisfied that the land described in the Schedule qualifies for registration as a town or village green, it will so register the land.
