Add a stop sign at N 73rd St & W Meinecke Ave

I am advocating for a stop sign at N 73rd St and W Meinecke Ave intersection, which is located 1 block from Roosevelt Elementary School and is in a designated school zone.
In 2013, local Milwaukee news station TMJ4 visited the intersection for their 'Speedbusters' segment after receiving complaints from the community. TMJ4 clocked speeders at 48 mph in the 15 mph school zone. I am tired of seeing too many kid and car, bike and car, car and car accidents nearly occur at this intersection.
The addition of a stop sign at N 73rd St and W Meinecke Ave intersection will assist in reducing the speed of vehicles as they enter a posted school zone, and help to keep drivers' speed closer to the mandated 15 mph.
Please sign the petition to help keep our streets safe in this community. My goal is to raise awareness with Wauwatosa City Hall surrounding the concern in our community that exists over this intersection, and to ask for the addition of a stop sign in hopes of preventing a fatal accident, before it happens.
Please sign the petition and share with others who are concerned about child and community safety.
