The Penguins of Madagascar should have never been cancelled, but here we are. Our only hope for it now is to bring it back.

I was obsessed with this show when I was eleven and after eight years, I managed to fall in love with it all over again. It's fun, it's endearing and it actually has some intriguing lore that could definitely be expanded upon.

The show won multiple awards, was the number 2 animated show in 2010, and most importantly was just plain hilarious. The penguins are genuinely well written characters and their dynamic is perfect for comedy and yet capable of being wholesome at the same time.

Although the show was cancelled over four years ago it has aged like a fine wine, perfectly integrating itself into our current meme culture. Think of all the memes that could be created if the show was brought back.

If you've watched the show, you'll understand why it needs to be brought back. If you haven't, go watch it. It has an evil dolphin voiced by Neil Patrick Harris. What more do you want? How about musical numbers? Because this show has a surprisingly high amount of them, and they're surprisingly good.

I'm sure all my fellow PoM fans will agree: this show ended way too soon. It deserves a fourth season, and probably a bunch more, but that is a topic for another day.
