Dear Supporter,

Last month we shared Costco's disappointing update to its gestation crate policy. To recap, Costco is now telling its suppliers that it is okay to "limit the use of gestation crates" rather than requiring them to phase crates out entirely.

We all hope that 2022 will be the year that Costco requires its suppliers to change their operations to address the growing resistance to cramped crates, but so far that doesn't seems be the case.
