The Live Aid music-based initiative in 1985 raised money and awareness for the Ethiopian Famine in Africa. Now, in a time in which the Amazon is burning, species are dying, pollutants riddling the oceans, and sea levels rising, it’s time to raise money and awareness. Music brings people together, and in a polarized world, we need that. I’m wanting to gain signatures in order to make a second Live Aid happen.

You’ll not only be supporting your music, you’re helping your environment, your world, our world. The Live Aid event in 1985 made out with $127 million, not including the additional $44 million off of a group single by a selection of bands and artists. We could make this happen again with an even bigger turnout. With these signatures, I will take this petition to Bob Geldof, Midge (James) Ure, and Brian May, who all have the platforms and initiative to potentially make this happen. All you have to do is sign your name.

This event should ultimately bring people together, see the artists you love, and raise money in order to clean the oceans, expand on technology, revive ecosystems, and so much more. We’re all family living under the same roof. Please help and sign your name, it would mean the world!
