Bob Evans Restaurants are withholding, taxing and waiting two weeks to give servers their Credit Card tips. Seeing as the wage for tipped employees is a mere pittance, they depend upon daily tips to bring home groceries, pay bills, etc. In the past, this practice was explained as a safeguard toward paying the employee's Health Care premium. As Bob Evans Restaurant has now cut the hours of 95% of it's servers, making them ineligible for benefits, this practice has been rendered moot. We ask that this practice be discontinued, and that the servers who do their best to provide your customers with a positive, friendly experience be paid their credit card tips at the end of their shifts. This is what your customers intend, and failure to remedy this situation places an undo hardship on your loyal employees.
