Every week I see more and more trash at Lake Mead and most of it is floating in the water, it’s derived from wind, littering in the water or left at beaches. We can make a difference by striving to keep our lake clean for generations to come. Waste is not only a huge problem to our environment but wildlife are harmed by it. If you sign the petition I want to get funding for barges in different locations in the middle of the lakes with recycling bins for boaters to empty their trash when needed. This will eliminate boaters carrying trash on their boat where they may leave at the next beach, the wind might grab the entire bag, or they may simply get tired of holding it and dump it. The barges can have business names that helped donate funds to get these going.
