Years of work and dedication have gone into revitalizing downtown Harrisonburg.  Part of the charms (and hence attractions) of downtown are the old buildings, and their repurposed use.  The Denton building is now used for an art shop/gallery and affordable housing.  We have read that there are plans to buy the Denton building and use it (or a new building) for more court/jail space.  We strongly object to this idea and request that you find another option for more court/jail space.
