Thank you for time to read our petition.  This petition is to demand the LYNN PUBLIC SCHOOL to have better and healthier food selection for our children.  There have been several times where our children have received food that either expired, has mold and even foul smell.  Many of the children in the City of Lynn depend on these meals.  Let’s face it many even face food insecurities at home and at school is the only place these insecurities are met.  

Let’s be honest without proper nutrition our children run the risk of low grades, and the inability to concentrate.  Due to COVID our City has received an abundance of funds to help improve schools.  Nutrition should be our priority.  Research shows that breakfast is the most important meal, and OUR CHILDREN DESERVE IT!  

With this petition we are asking Lynn Public School to change vendors - SAY NO TO REVOLUTION!  As a quick solution;

OUR CHILDREN TO BE SERVED FRESH, HEALTHY BALANCED MEALS;

For meals to be properly stored in order to prevent spoiling and contamination;

Better communication with parent on meals served and any changes are informed to the parent with ample time; and

LASTLY, for the Lynn Public School to build 4 kitchen thru out the City of Lynn. In order to prepare healthier balance menu for our children since their health and grades depend on it.
