The current board of directors must be held accountable for the wrongful euthanasia of Elvis, the escape of JD and the sabotage of his chances of being found due hiding and deleting comments on their facebook page, and the miscommunication that is happening between them and the public via their facebook page.  There is a history of past abuses towards volunteers that must be addressed. The image and reputation of this vital community organization is tarnished. We as a community can make the change by demanding new leadership.  There are many out there who will not volunteer due to the current leadership. Now is the time to speak out.  This will be shared at a City Council meeting and a County Commissioner Meeting.  We don't want the shelter to close, we want to give these animals a fighting chance.
