Mr. Wally Jones has been the Executive Director and Producer at Casa Manana Theatre in Fort Worth, TX for over a decade now. In this  time he has acted as the organization’s leader for all programming and production efforts. He has produced multiple shows aimed to entertain the greater DFW community. However, he continues to make and has not learned from multiple past mistakes. It is clear that there is a sense of entitlement and lack of accountability. In his time Mr.Jones has been caught and cited for using racial slurs, there has been little movement in an effort to diversify staff/creative staff or Board of Directors amidst the pleas to do so. He has a strong past history of inappropriate and unfair treatment towards multiple women. Wally Jones has been accused of laughing at complaints made against him, and in the subjects of racism and using racial slurs in the theatre. There have been multiple complaints and little action in regards to ongoing concerns of substance abuse problems.  During working hours and in onsite activities it has been noted that he is often heavily drinking before, during and after shows with alcohol purchased by the theatre for production events. These are just a few of the many ongoing concerns surrounding Wally Jones ability to lead Casa Manana and uphold its stated mission and values. These problems have been brought up several times over many years with no notable or necessary action taken. 
This theatre can do so many great things that would change the perception of their current reputation, by eliminating one person. We are urging those on the Board of Directors to replace him with a more qualified, honest and authentic candidate who has a more diverse background. Change can come from the theatre itself, but will likely never come from within this man.
Casa Manana has been a staple in the DFW theatre community for over 60 years and it is time to make a necessary change in leadership.
