I'm overjoyed to announce that NO SCHOOL WILL CLOSE!!! "WE THE PEOPLE" of Gilbert Public Schools have finally been heard! The board voted this evening and no school will close. They have voted to have Mesquite Jr High and GCA share one campus (a school within a school). I want to personally thank each and everyone that signed our petition "NO SCHOOL SHOULD CLOSE". Thank you to each and everyone that has slaved tirelessly at this project for the past several years. Thank you to those PTSO moms who shared with me and encouraged me to get involved. Thank you to my neighbors, friends, relatives, family and community for helping save our schools. ;) My family wants to thank everyone as well for helping keep Gilbert that small "TOWN" that everyone loves!!
