I revealed in this blog post what I know about favors that Sen. Ed Hernandez, chair of the California Senate Health Committee and candidate for lieutenant governor, did for Blue Shield, a major donor to his campaigns. I also call on him to disclosure his texts and emails with Blue Shield and for the Legislature to make communications between their members and big donors subject to disclosure under the Public Records Act.
