Dual Peppy should be retired to CT Babcock and Babcock Ranch

The Issue

Dual Peppy, a national cutting horse treasure, was rescued from a tragic siutation as he was 1 of 10 emaciated horses living in a barn with the carcasses of 14 deceased horses which were discovered on Sherri Brunzell's property in Black Forest CO in Sept 2014. During the past year, while Ms. Brunzell was awaiting trial, the horses were nursed back to the best health possible by Harmony Equine Center. In May 2015 she was found guilty and on Aug.13th her sentencing included eight of the abused horses(incl. Dual Peppy) be re-homed through adoption. The horses were then transferred to Blue Rose Ranch in Springfield, CO. Blue Rose is a non -profit rescue & adoption center chartered to find them new homes. Sadly this rescue is trying to collect Dual Peppy's semen to determine if is still viable to disclose to potential buyers. Dual Peppy physical condition includes back, hip, stifle, and hock injuries and this could cripple him. Additionally this rescue is using the horses fame to try and generate high dollar bids for him. The rescue should be focusing on finding folks who understand the business he was in, have a connection and strong desire to provide Dual Peppy with the best life possible for him to live out the rest of his years and the ability to make it possible. C.T. Babcock, Babcock Ranch, have consistently stated they wanted to provide for Dual Peppy and honor him. Upon finding out about the conditions he was found in, C.T. immediately worked with folks to bring his situation to the forefront of the AQHA's attention as well as other long standing horse industry professionals. C.T. attended the trials and closely followed the case. He has been forthright and honest about his intentions, desire & abilities to care for Dual Peppy. **Please sign Dual Peppy over to C.T. Babcock/BabcockRanch for his forever, final home.**
