Deborah's works often won because of the message the judges interpreted, and not because she produced high caliber art. To be clear, Deborah is skilled at blowing glass. However in competition, her art did not rank among the top in terms of craftsmanship. The quality of her work was noticably less superior to the other contestants, yet consistently received more attention from judges than other works. The winner of the show should have been decided on ability and skill rather than apparent political agendas.
