We the Bloomingdale parents of Walter T Bergen students petition the Bloomingdale Board of Education and Superintendent to phase in boys and girls Basketball-varsity and junior varsity into the Bloomingdale Re-Entry program. There are other school districts in our area, most notably our neighboring district of Butler, who are open and will be allowing their basketball season to be played. 

Sports is essential for our children, there growth, and future prospects in higher grades. Governor Murphy has signed off on allowing indoor winter sports to proceed throughout the state with the proper precautions and restrictions in place. The 2020 season will be the last time our 8th graders get to play together before they part ways and go off to different area high schools. These kids have worked too hard and have sacrificed so much this past 8 months. YOU can make this happen for our children and the Bloomingdale Community.
