Kainai we need to vote again!

We the people of Kainai, the Blood Tribe, seek to have an additional Election Day added.

If you are a Blood Tribe member and wanted to vote and we’re not able to, please sign this petition.

If you are a Blood Tribe member, and voted but agree to upholding every member’s right to vote, please sign.

If you are a Blood Tribe member and wanted to vote, and we’re not able to (regardless of physical location), please sign this petition.

Due to the recent Covid-19 protocols, many band members waited for hours at off-reserve polling stations  in the cold only to be turned away after the polls close. 

Our Elders and our people deserve to have their votes count!

Let’s respect the spirit and intent of our Treaties and our Custom and traditional laws, which means nobody gets left behind.
