Governor DeWine has put forth plans and a grant for 5.2 million dollars to build a full service Marina at Lock 27 in Proctorville, Ohio. Our Lawrence County Commissioners are seeking to add an RV park to this location. As concerned residents, we believe this initiative to not be in the best interest of the community. We kindly ask our local commissioners to meet with informed residents like us to find alternative, diversified revenue streams that will secure the project's longevity and viability. We don't object to progress and development, but it would not serve the residents of our county and would take away valuable parking and use of the grounds for festivals and events.  Stand with us to urge the administration to reconsider this decision.
